Despite our company’s core values, some products we sell to come in packaging. And it has the following reason: The companies that we source our products from are amazing, but they aren’t perfect. Some of our products are required by the EU to be in packaging or its fragility, but this packaging is compostable and/or recyclable.

It’s a part of our core mission to take care of the environment, and online retail returns are incredibly harmful to the environment. Considering return generates 5 billion pounds of landfill waste per year alone in the U.S. The return process, trucks burn roughly 1.6 billion gallons of diesel fuel, resulting in 15 million metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
We advise our customers to learn how to be a smarter online shopper. We research deeply in all of our products to ensure that our community purchases the most sustainable products available. Please avoid impulse buys, research purchases before making them, and don’t buy what you don’t need. We value you tremendously and hope that, together, we can all work towards consuming less and purchasing more mindfully.
We are not able to process a cancellation once an order is placed and payment is received. It is our compromise at Happy Zero Waste to encourage mindful consumerism for a healthier world and a happier life.
Once an order is placed, if you'd like to add products or cancel an order, please write to us directly to our bot Chat or our contact form. Make sure to include your order number in your request. Once an order has been dispatched, we are unable to cancel the order.

Happy Zero Waste requests one samples of each SKU to test before we onboard a new brand. Samples will not be returned to the brand, regardless of whether the brand is taken on as a vendor. Why? We love to test out all of our products vigorously before we put them on our website and in our stores for you. We want to ensure that we are only offering our customers the absolute best of what is out there, and to us, that means making sure that our team tests everything!
